After an unused bar sink had been removed, we installed pull-out drawers where the plumbing had been and a laminated cutting board where the sink had been.
Some of the shelves here were floating – anchored into the walls with no visible supports. Longer ones and those intended for stereo equipment we braced for strength.
The closet drawers with the angled facades pop out when they’re pushed and slide back in again with another push.
Rather than having dead space where kitchen cupboards took a 45° angle, we built pull-out drawers with a parallel facade.
